OUR CUSTOM CLOSET DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION PROCESS
Step 1 - The Initial Consultation
The first step is your in-home consultation, which is at no cost to you. You are also under no obligation whatsoever following the consultation. This typically takes about an hour, and is where our team will assess the space, take measurements, and discuss your wants and needs. We can turn even the smallest of spaces into something organized and functional.
Step 2 - The Design Phase
Once measurements of the space are taken, the next step is usually for the design to make sketches of the proposed new space. It typically plays out during the course of a few weeks. But with Clozetivity of Ocean County, we use modern technology to present you with four to six renderings after just a few minutes! You can decide which ones you like before even receiving the initial price estimate.
Step 3 - The Ordering Phase
You will receive a paperless price and design proposal from us either via email or text message. Once you do, you can pay your deposit whenever you’d like. Once we place the order, it usually takes about five to seven weeks for everything to arrive. When it does, we will contact you to schedule a convenient date for installation. We use nothing but quality materials made in North America.
Step 4 - The Preparation Phase
With Clozetivity of Ocean County, you have the option of either prepping the existing space yourself or having us do it for you for an additional fee. If you choose to do it yourself, plan to remove everything from the space in question the day before your appointment, including shelving and rods. Nail holes and other damage should be patched and painted with a matching color. If you’re prepping yourself, don’t forget to give the paint a day or two to dry before installation.
Step 5 - The Installation Phase
The team at Clozetivity of Ocean County will take care of everything when it comes to this stage. We will set everything up before unloading the closet materials and getting to work. We’ll be sure to clean everything up once we’re done. Most of the time, installation only takes one day, but it may take longer if you are having more than once space designed.
